Over 10,000 runners participated at this year’s Brighton Half Marathon on 26th February, and we’d like to give a special warm thanks to Tom Horn (he/him), Stevie Migan (he/him), Drew Victoire (she/he/they) and our COO, Erica Thornton (she/her) for running in aid of LGBTQ mental health.
The fabulous four took on 13.1 miles starting at Madeira Drive. They ran past iconic sights such as the Brighton Pier, the Royal Pavilion, and the West Pier while finishing off with stunning beach views as they sped up to the finish line.
Altogether, our brilliant team raised over £1,025 which will fund 102 counselling sessions – thank you all so very much! We’re honestly so grateful to have your support, and it’s been an honour to have Drew join us again for a second time! You STAR. Thanks again, you all did so well, and you should be incredibly proud.
If you’d like to join the MindOut team next year, the Brighton Half Marathon will return on February 25th 2024 – please keep your eyes peeled on our website to register https://mindout.org.uk/fundraising/fundraising-events/
In the meantime, please come and cheer on our Brighton Marathon runners on Sunday 2nd April!
