Emily Ballantyne (she/her) has been appointed as Interim CEO at MindOut. After 22 years as founder CEO Helen Jones is stepping down on 17th February. Emily will be working with the Trustees to recruit a new permanent CEO. She has worked in the community and voluntary sector for 25 years as a volunteer, specialist advice caseworker, partnership coordinator and senior leader.
Emily says: “I’m really honoured and excited to be taking over from Helen. MindOut is such a fantastic organisation, and has the needs of its service users at the centre of all that we do. I’m looking forward to working with such a committed staff team, and also getting to know our partners in Brighton & Hove and beyond.”
