If you are feeling stressed, isolated and uncertain because of the pandemic, or for any other reasons, you are not alone. Research shows that contact with others who understand how you are feeling is crucial to supporting your mental health. LGBTQ mental health matters, now more than ever.  If you are LGBTQ and feeling low, anxious or isolated, we are here for you.

Our advocacy, online and peer support services are all open, please do get in touch if you would like to know more. Our groups and mentoring services are offering online support and we have started a new telephone befriending service, let us know if this might help you.

Our counselling service is offering online and telephone appointments, we aim to resume face to face counselling as soon as it is safe to do so.

MindOut welcomes and supports people of all gender identities and gender expressions, and we reject all forms of transphobia. We understand that Trans people, and particularly disabled and/or marginalised Trans people, experience oppression every single day. Trans people, and people with mental health difficulties, are at much higher risk of being victims of crime. We reject any concept that Trans experiences are any less valid than Cisgender experiences.

We are very concerned that Trans rights are being eroded in the UK and around the world.  An attack on any part of our community is an attack on us all, and marginalised groups need safety and security now more than ever.

We understand that LGBTQ+ people may be feeling a strong sense of loss at the moment, as the global pandemic makes social isolation even more prominent. We are here to listen, and to help support you at this time.
