Pride Fundraising 2024

We’ve had a busy Pride Season this year, and before the Winter Season approaches we’d like to celebrate our fundraising partners who supported us in our mission to reduce isolation, stigma, and suicidal distress.

First, we’d like to welcome our partnership with Honest Burgers in their quest to support LGBTQ mental health. Collaborating with their beer partner, Brooklyn UK to launch their Stonewall Inn Edition IPA, they donated 25p of every Monthly Special Burger. In total, raising an amazing £5,251.25. We’d like to share our special thanks for thinking of us at this time, and hope to work together sometime soon in the future!

For this year’s Pride Season, Lululemon and Barry’s worked together to raise funds for our vital services. Kicking off the partnership, Lululemon donated £1,500, and throughout the Pride Season, Barry’s, a fitness studio, arranged a series of workout sessions which fundraised £5K.

This generous donation from Lululemon and Barry’s fundraising collaboration, together raised £6,500 for LGBTQ mental health, which will go towards the Counselling, Advocacy, and Online Support Services at MindOut. We’re also delighted to welcome an external fundraiser from the team at Morgan Stanley who ran a Pride event via Barry’s bootcamp; raising a further £500.

This Pride Season we’re really lucky to have worked with the Card Factory, who fundraised £1,000 via JustGiving, with the company match funding this amount by £1K. Altogether,

raising £2K covering the costs of 50 counselling sessions for individuals! Day by day we work towards our vision of the future where LGBTQ mental health is a priority, free from stigma and recognised. Therefore, it’s an honour to welcome this partnership for this year’s Pride Season, and raise the funds needed to support our counselling service.

‘At MindOut, we’re a Brighton based charity run by and for LGBTQ people with lived experience of mental health challenges. Running, and serving our community for 24 years – LGBTQ people tend to feel isolated, face additional discrimination, stigma and exclusion, and generally wait longer to ask for help. The Pride Season is a forefront for campaigning the experiences folks endure and an opportunity to raise the funds for our vital services. We’re so thrilled to announce the total of £14,251 from these Pride Partnerships! We look forward to processing and sharing with you previous fundraisers and upcoming partnerships in the near future. Thanks again for supporting us this Pride Season – with love from the MindOut team’.
