This workshop is aimed at anyone who provides advice and support e.g. mental health workers, advice workers, social workers, housing workers, health workers, support workers, councellors, nurses, GPs, helpline workers, youth workers, teachers, community organisers.

 

Please come along to learn about LGBTQ hardship – how LGBTQ people are affected, what MindOut and Allsorts are doing about it and what you can do about it.

 

The workshop will cover:

  • Identifying barriers to LGBTQ people engaging with services

  • Skills to better support LGBTQ service users

  • Responding positively to LGBTQ people in need
