MindOut is looking for Trustees to join the Board to develop our strategic mission, secure longer term sustainability and grow this small charity which delivers big results. 

This is a governance role, supporting the CEO and working as a team to oversee governance responsibilities. You will also have the opportunity to develop the charity through sub groups (working groups), take on ambassadorial duties and work alongside other Trustees with a range of knowledge, skills and diverse backgrounds and contribute to developing the charity’s work on LGBTQ mental health.

You must have experience and/or a strong understanding of governance/committee work and leadership. You will need to commit to attending Board meetings (online) and others as required, be open to learning, uphold our values, understand and support our mission to improve the lives of LGBTQ people and mental health.

Freelance Trainer Opportunities – Join Our Dynamic Team!

MindOut is seeking experienced and passionate Freelance Trainers to contribute to our innovative and growing training programs. If you have a strong background in LGBTQ Mental Health, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for empowering others through effective training, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver MindOut's engaging training sessions in LGBTQ Awareness and Mental Health.
  • Adapt training materials to meet the diverse needs of participants.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance participants' skills.
  • Collaborate with the training team to continuously improve program content.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an excellent Trainer
  • Strong expertise in LGBTQ and Mental Health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to various learning styles.
  • Suitable and stable Remote based working environment
  • Willingness to travel to in-person training where necessary (travel time and expenses provided)
  • Flexibility to work on a freelance basis, with availability during LGBT History Month and beyond!

Qualifications:

  • We do not require any specific certifications or degrees for the role

Rates:

  • Up to £60 per hour for delivery
  • £25 per hour for preparatory tasks
  • £10 per hour travel time
  • Travel costs (TBD)
